IRONIC is an early series of canvas works developed in direct response to the Alanis Morissette song.  

With the song as stimulus, analogies have been drawn between the energy of the music and corresponding visual characteristics.   Weight, time and tension, emotion and symbolic colour are all significant.  On a lesser scale, reference to the actual lyrics and their suggested imagery is made.
